Seems backwards from other common notions | of timezones. E.g., RFC 822 mail header date format treats "PST" | (California non-daylight-savings time) and "-0800" the same, | and "PDT" == "-0700", etc. also in the great¹ Unix tradition, PST is 8 and PDT is 7. #:Erik ------- ¹ riiiight
