| I've been scouring the LISP FAQs for recent links, but so far I haven't
| found what I'm looking for, so here goes.

have you looked in the contrib/clx directory in the Allegro CL
installation directory? or found code/clx.fasl? as Marco said, it's
enough to say (require :clx) to load it. but I know how you feel,
looking at your own disk has a lot less charm than looking at other
people's disks over the Net. ;)

| Is there a place I can find a distribution of CLX that will work under
| Redhat Linux?

well, if you can't find it elsewhere, take a look at ftp.franz.com.
