I never interpreted it that way. please don't assume that just because someone who is not fluent in American English speculates about what someone else whom he assumes is not fluent in American English because he's not an American would have meant or misunderstood, said someone else actually misunderstood it that way. I actually find such arguments very insulting. if you make this kind of argument with, say, black Americans, whom you assume don't understand a word because they're black, you're a racist. it makes no difference to me if you make it about foreigners or other groups about which you know very little that applies to individuals. #:Erik
