  I think it is actually a good thing to have the original insulting shit
  removed.  However, I am no fan of "nice" for the sake of "nice".  (Who
  would have guessed?)  Instead of just being "nice", it would have been
  useful if the _arguments_ behind the religious fervor the last time could
  come out in actual words that other people could relate to.  I have no
  desire to see another insulting piece of shit that arrogantly assumes
  that the author is so much in his right that he need not even argue, but
  when the arguments are gone in the name of "nice", the result is that (1)
  we know he had no arguments, and (2) he still cannot be argued against.

  So while it is an _improvement_ and it should have been announced and had
  a new version, it has become just as _irrelevant_ as it would have been
  if it had not contained the insults in the first version, apart from the
  completely unchanged image problem that Franz Inc. still have when they
  continue to publish code with this cretinous "innovation".
