Certainly! That was intended to be implied by the "*UNTIL* we have an
answer" part -- that is, if/when a Linux config is found that works with the
generational GC, it certainly should be posted [no matter *who* finds it]!!

By the way, for what it's worth, I've been using Elk on FreeBSD-2.2.6
for some time, using the "386pc-bsdi-gcc" config for the"system" file
and then tweaking just a few things in the "site" file.
