In fact, there's quite a thriving tradition over on "comp.arch" of
giving *WILDLY* ridiculous answers to obvious homework questions,
couched in apparently-plausible-sounding gobbledygook. As the
counter-replies cascade, each one with tongue stuck ever more
firmly in cheek, it can provide a few moments of amusement (albeit
somewhat cruel) and relief from the usual round of serious technical
flames.
