GNU CL (based on Kyoto Common Lisp, which I played with back in 1987) has turned out to be a serious flop, so maybe he thinks Scheme will fare better in the new language GUILE. I don't think it will. it has even less overall design than usual for overgrown Scheme implementations, and people add stuff to in the Unix and C spirit (each man his own conventions). #:Erik
