Yes. Basically, all you have to do is get your application to do the few
things that the SCM main program does (set "initpath", call "run_scm()").

Look at what happens when you compile SCM with "-DRTL".

p.s. This also works (at least, on SGI boxes) if you compile SCM as a DSO,
which lets you connect to SCM at run time...
