Have you compared yours to Marc Battyani's "mod_lisp"?

His provides connections (optionally persistent or re-usable)
to an external Common Lisp (or Scheme) process, roughly patterned
on the "mod_jserv" style. It's about 1.5 years old, and has
gotten pretty-good reviews. It allows you to use whatever
version of CL or Scheme you like, so you're not restricted
to "tinyscheme"...
