I would suggest "topic", because of its root meaning "of a place"
[also, Google for "memory theatre"], but that has baggage, too.
How about just the raw Greek, "topos"? [Not sure what the plural is,
but it must have one]. Or the Latin "locus" [pl. "loci"]?
