I'm trying to produce a runtime version of a program. It's running pretty
happily within the standard environment, so I created a runtime version.
It runs fine until a call to dialog-item-set-value, at which point it explodes
and tells me that it needs the compiler (which is of course not available
in the runtime version).
I can't be the first person to run into this. I've searched the documentation
in the Professional manual supplement (Chapter 4--Runtime Generator), but
found nothing that appears relevant. Is it the case the some of ACL's
code is not runtime usable?
Any thoughts/solutions/commiseration?
