Hi, 

I'm trying to get logical pathnames to work under ACL4W, version 3.0. 

Logical pathnames are, according to the ACL4W version 3.0 online documentation, 
not supported.  However, there is an (unsupported) file LOGPATH.LSP in the 
ALLEGRO directory that is supposed to give logical pathnames.  It is a copy 
of the logical pathnames file from the CMU repository, augmented with ACL4W 
code, summarized as follows: 

  ;;; 9-Aug-93 dhm  Converted to defpackage and Allegro Common Lisp PC. 
  ;;;               Had to split into three files due to 32K limit. 

Unfortunately, the LOGPATH.LSP file is not loading without problems.  I wonder 
if there is a more recent version of the file somwhere, or if there are other ways to 
get logical path names under ACL4W?
