When I see this, it usually means that the file is not
writeable. Check to see whether the file has the
read-only attribute set. Also, since you're using
an NTFS file system, check the access permissions --
if someone else created the file, you may need to have
them give access permission to your username.

Subject: Dos error number -1
Hello,
I used to use ACL for Win ver 3.0. Ver 3.0.1 is just installed to our
system here. But I get the following error message:
Error: Dos error number -1 on stream #<file-stream Z:\wklee\Textmark...
#xFBD774> [condition type: FILE-ERROR]
Even if I press abort. The same error keeps poping up, and I have no
choice but to kill the process.
The OS I am using is NT 4.00.1381. Z:\ is a NTFS file system.
I also noticed that even if I do some I/Os at local file system c:, some
similar error messages pop up as well.
The exact version of ACL I am now using is:
Ver 3.0.1 Release:18-Jun-96 16:12
No patch.
Any ideas? Thanks.
