For certain reasons I use a tilde (~) in my class names. If I get an error
where the name of an instance (including its class name) has to be printed
the character succeding the tilde is ommitted and the next one is
underlined.

It seems to use the menu-item text convetion for shortcuts!! Why in an
error string? Normal printing of strings with ~ works so far.
