is it really the case that there is no archive available for this list?
i checked the Allegro CL faq and the `www.franz.com' web site but could
not find any.

if not, could someone please email me a digest of the thread initiated
by bruce tobin (``Help with performance comparison'').  i seem to have
deleted a few messages (or some quote private email messages) ...

anyway, if there is no archive, i suggest Franz considers setting it up
at their site.
