In command output there is NO INFORMATION below the point. I wholeheartedly agree. It's a stumps me why anyone would want it any other way - what's the point of having half a blank screen? I have tried previously all the suggestions I've seen on this thread - none work consistently. Of course C-- M-l works but it's annoying to have to do that all the time. BTW, I thought the original complaint was about the cursor ending up in the middle of text after output, instead of at the last prompt, which I see occasionally. I don't know the solution to that one either. -- Liam Healy <nrl.navy.mil at Liam.Healy>
