Actually, Augustina (and friends)

Helpful as it might be, this is NOT the right forum for questions or
answers on introductory issues in lisp programming.  This is supposed
to be concerned with questions that are specific to Allegro Common
Lisp, and that fall outside the standard "Common Lisp" specification.

Perhaps the newsgroup comp.lang.lisp and its associated
help (FAQ) files would be an appropriate place for your
next question.

Not to seem an ogre about this, I prompted emailed Augustina
an answer to her question and also suggested she NOT to post
such questions here.
