Since Allegro CL for windows NT does not support threads, as in the Unix
version, I would like to hack in a foreign C language function that
takes the appropriate address information from Allegro and allows me to
create a thread. I am certain this can be done since I was able to do
it with Scheme and Fortran IV years ago. The question is has anyone
done this, and if not any suggestions where to start. I will share the
C language foreign function once I get this up and running. I also
realize that Franz is coming out with threads in the NT product some
time next year, but I require the functionality now.
